What does volunteer leader mean to you?

Someone willing to step up and serve whenever and where ever needed.

What is your proudest work/life moment?

Raising two boys that turned out to be smart, talented, and giving young men is what I am most proud of.

What would you say is your biggest challenge?

Honestly, prioritzing while I multi-task. I so often want to do everything at once and struggle when there are still things left to do at the end of the day.

What advice do you have for others in the industry who are looking to serve in a leadership role?

Be authentic. Do it for the right reasons and be willing to serve in any capacity needed.

Share something unique about your local market.

Western North Carolina (WNC) is very transient and we've learned that our turn over rates are higher than a lot of other markets. Everyone wants to visit or live here and while that means market growth for us, it also means that in most cases the single-family home market is our biggest competitor. WNC was ranked in top ten places to relocate on relocate-america.com.

If your entire life was a movie, what title would you give it?

The Girl Who Persevered

I have always been determined to do my best and overcome challenges with grace. I have been very blessed to go through the things I have in my life. The triumphs and struggles of my life have made me who I am, and I am grateful to be me.
